1. About Reader Remix
Reader Remix is a page-creation application. It lets you create private projects, use image-generation services, publish finished pages, and copy eligible published revisions into editable projects.
Publishing and remixing use the confirmation shown in the application. Existing publications retain their recorded license.
2. Adults, accounts, and responsible use
Reader Remix is for people aged 18 or older and is primarily intended for users in the United States. Google sign-in identifies an account; it does not verify age. The service does not currently enforce a country restriction.
Keep your account secure and use it only as authorized. Do not impersonate others, evade account restrictions or spending limits, interfere with the service, or use it for unlawful activity.
3. Your work and AI limitations
You keep the rights you have in your original material and human-created contributions. We do not claim ownership of your work simply because you use the service.
You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to upload, process, publish, and share your material. Permission to use a reference for inspiration or generation is not necessarily permission to distribute the reference itself. A noncommercial label does not automatically make someone else's material lawful to use.
AI output can be inaccurate, inappropriate, similar to other output, or subject to third-party rights. We do not guarantee copyright protection, exclusivity, non-infringement, or commercial usability. Review the result and obtain any additional permissions needed for your use.
4. Permission to operate the service
The service hosts, stores, copies, processes, formats, and delivers your content to provide the features you request, maintain the service, and address safety or legal obligations. This includes using service providers for storage, generation, and safety checks, and operating a commercial service. It is not a transfer of ownership.
Private projects are not a public gallery. Publishing authorizes display of the finished page and the delivery of the saved creative-project copy described below. Using these features does not give us general permission to sell your private content or use it in advertising.
We will seek separate permission before featuring your work in promotional material. These features do not grant permission for a first-party model-training program. Provider processing is described in the Privacy Notice.
Content is handled for these purposes, including applicable retention and legal obligations. Stopping use or archiving a page does not revoke separate licenses already granted or retrieve copies already made.
5. Publishing shares more than one page
Publishing makes the selected finished page, its title and license information, and associated public social information available to visitors. Anonymous visitors cannot download the private project ingredients through the public page.
Publishing also allows signed-in users to fork an eligible revision: they receive an independent, editable copy of the whole saved creative project at that revision. The copy includes other pages, lettering, prompts, canon, reference images, supported creative assets, candidates, and review notes included in the frozen snapshot. It does not include your account credentials, credit balance, or account authority.
Only publish if you have the necessary sharing rights and are comfortable sharing that full project material. A private fork describes the recipient's initial workspace visibility, not a promise that your shared ingredients can never leave it.
6. Publishing and remix licensing
Check the recorded license in a publication's details before reusing it. Reader Remix's default sharing posture is public, forkable, and noncommercial. A publication is not represented as the publisher's exclusive commercially exploitable property.
Remix this project creates a private, editable copy of the whole saved project at that publication. It does not require you to publish your copy. Reuse and later sharing remain subject to the source's recorded license and applicable law.
This page does not replace the license recorded on an existing publication or grant additional off-platform rights. Do not assume a named Creative Commons license applies unless it is expressly recorded for that work.
You remain free to use or separately license material you independently own, including commercially. That does not give you commercial rights to someone else's noncommercially licensed material. Copyright exceptions, public-domain material, privacy, publicity, trademark, and other rights still matter. Using the service does not give you permission to sell someone else's work.
7. Credits and generation
Reader Remix offers starter credits. Credit purchases and subscriptions are not available. Available balances and operation prices appear in the application. Provider dollar estimates are not the same thing as the app-credit price. Account, request, and service-wide limits can still prevent an operation even when you have credits.
An operation may reserve credits before it runs. Successfully settled operations use the quoted app-credit amount. Requests refused before paid dispatch and definite releasable failures release the hold. An uncertain provider outcome can require manual reconciliation; it is not a promise of an immediate refund. Avoid submitting the same work again just because a response is delayed.
Closing a dialog does not cancel running generation. Disliking a technically completed image does not automatically restore credits; you may request discretionary review. A restored app credit is not a cash refund. Credits do not currently expire and cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash. Any future paid offering requires its own reviewed purchase disclosures.
8. Moderation, archiving, and ending use
We may restrict service access or remove content for violations, abuse, legal requirements, or a concrete security or safety risk. Where appropriate and lawful, we will explain the action and offer the review path described in Community & Reporting. Moderation is not guaranteed to be automatic or error-free.
Archiving a publication removes its discovery and new render/fork access through the service. It does not delete your account or all stored project data, and cannot recall prior downloads or completed independent forks. Those copies remain subject to their applicable licenses and law; independence is not immunity from a lawful removal request.
Signing out only ends your session. Account closure and data requests need separate handling. There is no self-service account deletion or private-project export promised here.
9. Availability and legal rights
The service is provided on an as-available basis, without a contractual uptime guarantee or ordinary-support response guarantee. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties concerning uninterrupted availability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Nothing here excludes obligations, remedies, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
These pages do not impose mandatory arbitration or a class-action waiver.
10. Changes and contact
Material changes will be communicated before taking effect where required. A later terms update will not silently replace the license on an earlier publication or withdraw permissions already validly granted.
See Support & Account Requests for available contact methods and service limitations.
